When I returned, I met the guy. After reading him for a few minutes, I knew I wouldn't like him. He was cocky, egotistical and condscending as he started probing me for answers as to why I was living at work. Every word that came out of his fugly face grinded my nerves. I did not like this little pig.
I met the girl a week later. Crazy substance problems were written all over this pice of work's face, but I didn't get the bad vibes from her. She was a bit of a bitch at first, but I am able to get along with women pretty well, so I started to open up to her a little.
Things were sort of okay for a few weeks. No real problems. Mostly we would grind my annoying roomate behind his back. I know. That wasn't nice.
The last couple of weeks have been pretty tense. They would steal tables from me (I'm a waiter by the way) and make up any excuse as to why it was alright. They would work together against me, but the guy was the worst about it.
The fight
The first day of the G20 Summit was expected to bring in a lot of business for us. Unfortunately, everybody was scared to be in downtown, so buisness wasn't exactly booming. I was there all day and made almost nothing, but when 6:30 rolled around, people started coming in. My two cow-workers came in, too. I had a friend working with me and she was next in rotation. A table walked up and she was about to take it. The guy got in her way and said she wasn't going to take it. Ohhh... how very mean. His girl grabbed the table and I, of course, objected. I follwed her outside and just wanted to talk about who the hell they thought they were. She wanted to yell, so I yelled.
Our argument was winding down and suddenly I get blindside tackled by her fugly boyfriend. I guess he thought I'd fall down, but I held my footing. We spun around a bit and I (damnit) slip on a plate that was on the ground outside and loose my footing, but by that time everybody had come out and broke it up. No punches were landed, but I really didn't give him the opportunity. A totally fruitless fight for him.
I want them gone. We don't need them working here and we don't need them around. It's time for this filthy, sleazy couple to go back to whatever shitpile they crawled out of. I'm also planning to talk to a lawyer. I have witnesses who saw him attack me. The pizza place next door claims that he admitted to initiating the fight. He wasn't allowed to work yesterday, but he had the gaul to strut in last night for a couple of minutes. Bad idea...
I'm having some muscle soreness and lower back pain (probably from getting tackled there). This isn't over. Not by a long shot!
