Description

Speed painting of a gritty, realistic-ish version of the Pokemon, Spinda. This artist on DA :iconsoupandbutter: makes these gritty, realistic versions of pokemon and I totally admire them. he hasn't done Spinda yet, so I took it upon myself to do so.

I decided to give it subdermal eyes since it's eyes in the game don't make much sense in realistic terms. I learned a lot about lighting from this awesome hand lighting tutorial DA recently posted.

I must say I never expected this to be seen around here... Usually everyone hates that little guy because it's annoyingly hard to fight sometimes with its confusion moves and it's actually pretty weak.
But you did that really well, I like your interpretation of Spinda :meow: The eyes were an awesome choice, perfectly fitting its concept :)
